I work with people who suffer from depression, eating disorders, anxiety related issues and those who can't just can't work out why they feel so unhappy, confused or helpless. I help people with obsessive and compulsive issues and work with people who face a suicidal crisis. I further work with people who struggle with sex addictions, trauma and other psychiatric conditions.

Further I work with people who survived terrifying and brutal experiences, faced abuse and/or mental health problems and struggle to continue to live their lives. I undertake both short term focussed projetcs as well as longer term work.

Over the past 8 years I have gained experience in the NHS working at the Maudsley Hospital, St Thomas Hospital and Victim Support Lambeth where I saw people in weekly one-to-one psychotherapy sessions.

In my pratice I am very interested in the social and political as well as the personal reality. I believe in challenging negativity and discrimination around race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religious beliefs and socio-economic background. As a German speaker living in London I bring my own personal experience and an acute awareness of how social exclusion operates on both personal and social realities.

I often work with people who fall outside the heterosexist norm and have a keen interested in queer affirmative psychotherapy.

I further offer ongoing workshops where I am able to focus on transgenerational or historical trauma and facilitate training and continual professional development (CPD) workshops at Metanoia Institute in London and at the Scarborough Psychotherapy Institute. I am further part of the panel for viva examinations for MSc and DPsych candidates in Integrative Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute.
