Lecturer & Tutor

Teaching for me is an art rather than a profession. I have been invloved in various therapy training programs offered by leading training institutes both in London, Vienna and Scarborough. I have taught about contemporary psychoanalysis, integrative psychotherapy and relational psychoanalysis. as well as trauma focused psychotherapy. I am a sessional tutor for MSc students at Metanoia Institute. My publications deal with issues such as trangenerational trauma and the real relationship in psychotherapy. What is nearest to us is often the farthest away.

there is more to life than training, but training is what puts more in your life...
I further offer ongoing workshops where I am able to focus on transgenerational or historical trauma and facilitate training and continual professional development (CPD) workshops at Metanoia Institute in London and at the Scarborough Psychotherapy Institute. I used to provide suicide awareness and suicide prevention workshops and training modules for medical staff at various NHS trusts. I further ran CPD courses for students about relational psychoanalytic approaches and about the phenomenon of suicide.

I am further part of the panel for viva examinations for MSc and DCPsych candidates at Metanoia Institute. I have been chairing and participating as well as process facilitating the last steps of candidates' training before UKCP registration and I currently tutor students in their dissertation year.
