MSc Integrative Psychotherapy
2007/8 Middlesex University & Metanoia Institute
My training as an integrative psychotherapist was informed by relational psychoananalytic concepts with a Kleinian perspective in supervison.
This was enriched by contributions from Gestalt therapy, humansitic psychotherapy as well as CBT and trauma informed therapy. I later trained in EMDR and at the Institute for Group Analysis in London.
MPhil - University of Vienna
Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is propably the reason why so few engage in it....
As a student of Karl Popper and other philosophers I have learned in an embodied way to question experience construcitvely. The problem with common sense is that there is nothing common about it.
As a theatre director I developed my understanding of creativity in action and that it often develops through a conflict of ideas. Everything you can imagine is real.
Supervision Diploma
My experience as a supervisor started within a psychiatric community employing a humanistic lens. Later I developed an integrative style of supervision which was influenced by my mentor Maria Gilbert, I further have years of experience of providing group supervison for various organisations as well as universities.
At the IGA I studied for a group supervision diploma which I gained with a merit in 2018.
EMDR - emdr works
EMDR training in 2018 added a way to my therapy practice to deal with trauma in a non-verbal dimension. As the body keeps the score, EMDR uses your somatic processes to digest otherwise undigesable experiences.
